Can I
download live prices from Marketmaker®
into a 3rd party application,like Excel?
There is no facility to connect a 3rd party application to
Marketmaker® to extract live
prices. The Board of Directors decided to withdraw this
service when Marketmaker® v4.3 was
retired in January 2003 and there are currently no plans to
re-introduce it.
Does the
Cash and Payments History window show cash in or out
transactions?
The Cash and Payments History window will show both cash in and
out, to and from the account. To open it, go to 'Trading' in the
Marketmaker® menu, select blotters and
select 'Cash & Payment History'

I have multiple logins to one account?
Please
contact the Helpdesk
to create a second logon.
Do I need to install
the CD if I've already installed Marketmaker®
from the
website?
No. The Installation file on the CD-ROM and from the website
are the same. They install SunJava and the core
Marketmaker® program code. After they've
been installed, Marketmaker®
automatically checks a server, to find and then download,
any updates or additional code it requires
Can the
email alert message content be edited so it can be received
on mobile phones?
No. The message length is fixed. We are looking to include
this functionality in the future.
Can I run
CFD live a/c and SB live a/c on the same computer
simultaneously?
Yes, if the computer has adequate
resources (Processor speed, RAM, etc.)
Can the
news be filtered?
You can make
the news instrument specific by selecting related news from the
right hand click menu on the single price window for that
instrument.
What does
IF-DONE mean?
If-done orders are two orders, the
second linked to the first. When the first order is executed the
second order then becomes active.
What does
OCO mean?
'One Cancels Other'
Two orders are created, the second linked to the first. When one
is executed the other is automatically cancelled.
What does GTC mean?
'Good Till Cancelled'
Order will remain pending until it is either executed or
manually cancelled.
