1. Download this file PROXY.ZIP.
2. Unzip the file to C:\Program Files\MarketMaker\MarketmakerCentury Financial Brokers\MM5
3. Open the file named "ProxySetup.dat" using Notepad

You will see the following contents in the file:

socksproxy=
proxyhost=
proxyport=
username=
password=

4. To the end of each line, add the settings you need to use to negotiate your proxy server - your Network Administrator will be able to help.
If you do not need to enter a username or password, delete those two lines, leaving socksproxy, proxyhost and proxyport .

socksproxy= put "true" or "false"
proxyhost= enter the IP address or name of the proxy server
proxyport= enter the port number used by the proxy server
username= enter the username required, otherwise delete this line
password= enter the password required, otherwise delete this line

Below are two examples to show the kind of content required.

proxyhost=10.48.4.69 proxyhost=212.194.34.0
proxyport=8080 proxyport=80
username=proxyserver
password=jollyroger

5. Once you have added the information you need, click File then Save, and close down Notepad
6. Double click on the Marketmaker icon on your Desktop, you should now be able to get to the Logon stage.
